Dear Members of the HMS and HSDM Community:

Consistent with the recent closure of Harvard Yard, access to the HMS Quad is now restricted to Harvard ID holders. 

Harvard University police and security staff are on site to screen IDs at each of the access points to the Quad. Access to HMS campus buildings is not impacted. Pedestrian access between Longwood Avenue, Shattuck Street, and Huntington Avenue may be minimally affected.

Additionally, please be aware of the following:

• Individuals should be prepared to show their Harvard ID cards when requested.
   
• Structures, including tents and tables, are not permitted on the HMS Quad without an approved reservation or prior permission.
   
• Blocking pedestrian pathways or access to buildings is prohibited.
   
• Individuals violating these policies will be subject to disciplinary action.
